Chicago White Sox--Spring Training: 2010

                welcome to whitesoxaz.com

This Web site is designed to help promote Spring Training for the Chicago White Sox major league baseball club. This site is not formally affiliated with the Chicago White Sox nor Major League Baseball.  It is intended for the personal enjoyment of fans of baseball and the Chicago White Sox!

The White Sox will be spending their sophomore year in the Phoenix area training and playing once again in the $80+ million dollar Camelback Ranch baseball stadium in nearby Glendale.

They share this 13,000 fan capacity facility (largest in the Cactus League) with the Los Angeles Dodgers, who also relocated to Arizona in 2009 after spending over sixty years in Vero Beach, Florida.  The White Sox moved up from Tucson the same year.

Our site will update you on news and events during their Spring Training season for the 2005 World Champions and the 2008 A.L Central League Champions   And if you're planning on attending Spring Training, this site will offer you help in that effort as well.

White Sox Chairman of the Board, Jerry Reinsdorf, would comment later in a March 14, 2009 interview with Scott Merkin of MLB.com that there's a "punch list of stuff" to deal with yet in the new park.
"We have to figure out what went right, what went wrong, but the place is terrific, it's really functional," Reinsdorf went on to say in the Merkin interview. (Read the full story.)
